ARCSERVE LIVE MIGRATION
BENEFITS OF MIGRATING TO CLOUD
The shift to cloud computing represents a fundamental change in how many organisations use and provide their services. Most organisations already run at least one workload in the cloud. The process of moving, applications, application data and workloads to cloud environments, can offer many benefits, from more excellent elasticity and redundancy, improved IT productivity and cost efficiencies.
The most common migration method is rehosting on-premises workloads in the public cloud. However, some organisations may also want to move from one cloud platform to another cloud platform (e.g. from AWS to Azure or vice versa) or migrate from the cloud back to a self-managed data centre. Regardless of the purpose of such a migration, traditional migration processes often require planned downtime to eliminate data loss. Planned downtime can negatively affect workload performance and increase the cost of a migration project.
Arcserve Live Migration is designed to eliminate disruption during your cloud migration project. Arcserve Live Migration makes it easy to move applications, application data and workloads to the cloud or target platform of your choice while keeping your business fully operational. Remove the complexity by orchestrating the cutover to the target platform. Manage the whole cloud migration process from a single centralised console.
CLOUD MIGRATION WITHOUT DOWNTIME OR DATA LOSS
With Arcserve Live Migration, you can:

HOW IT WORKS

Arcserve Live Migration automatically synchronises files, databases, and applications on Windows and Linux systems with a secondary physical or virtual environment located on-premises, local or at a remote location, or in the cloud. Once synchronised, changes are replicated in real-time to ensure the source and target are in sync before the migration begins.
Encryption enables secure data transfers between local & remote systems without the need for a VPN, while automated network redirection makes switching over a seamless process with a push-button cutover to ensure availability to the new production environment.
The entire migration process gets orchestrated from a single centralised console from where you can run non-disruptive migration testing that can be fully automated or performed on a scheduled or as-needed basis.
