Guardz Cloud Data, External Footprint & Dark Web
M365 and Google Workspace exposure scanning, external surface monitoring, dark-web credential alerting.
Three sub-modules that travel together because they cover the same question from three angles: what does the customer look like from outside the platform? Cloud Data Protection scans Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace for sensitive data exposure, oversharing and misconfigured permissions — the kind of "everyone in the company can see this customer database" findings that show up the moment someone actually looks. External Footprint Monitoring watches the customer's externally visible surface — open ports, exposed services, SSL configuration drift and certificate expiry. Dark Web Monitoring reports breached credentials matching the customer's domain.
Together they fill the gap that endpoint, identity and email tools structurally cannot cover. An endpoint can be perfectly clean while a SharePoint site is shared with the internet. An identity store can be hardened while a forgotten test environment exposes port 3389 to the world. An inbox can be protected while five staff have already had their personal email plus reused password leaked into a 2024 breach dump. These three modules cover that surface area and feed the findings back into the same Guardz console.
For Australian MSPs who currently buy a separate dark-web monitoring SKU (DeHashed, SpyCloud or similar) plus run quarterly tenant-exposure scripts by hand, this is the consolidation pitch. For MSPs who do not currently do any external-surface work, this is how you start without buying a third toolset.

Dark-web monitoring as a stand-alone category is crowded with SpyCloud, DeHashed and a half-dozen smaller vendors. They are competent at the specific job but operate as separate consoles with separate billing. External attack-surface monitoring (CyCognito, Censys, Bishop Fox Cosmos) is genuinely strong but priced for the enterprise. Microsoft 365 oversharing scans are a quarterly script most MSPs run manually if they run them at all. The Guardz proposition is not "best-in-class at any one of these" — it is "all three on the same platform, in the same console, correlated with the rest of the detection surface, at SMB pricing." For Australian MSPs serving smaller tenants, that consolidation is usually the right call.
One of the advantages of working with CRS — we can recommend the best combination of vendors for your specific needs.
