Keepit for Confluence Cloud
Protect Your Organisation's Knowledge Base from Accidental Deletion and Data Loss
Confluence is where institutional knowledge lives. Runbooks, architecture decisions, onboarding guides, meeting notes. Atlassian provides a native export, but it is a manual process that produces a static HTML or XML dump. No scheduling, no incremental backup, and no way to restore a single page without importing the entire space. If someone accidentally deletes a space or a bulk edit overwrites hundreds of pages, recovery through Atlassian support is slow and uncertain.
Keepit automates protection of your entire knowledge base to independent, immutable infrastructure. Spaces, pages, blog posts, templates, blueprints, comments (inline and footer), attachments, and version history are all backed up automatically. Space-level permissions and properties are preserved, so a restore puts everything back exactly as it was, not as a stripped-down import.
Recovery is page-level granular. Restore a single page with its child pages and attachments, a specific blog post, or an entire space. Version history is maintained, so you can recover a page as it existed at any point in time rather than just the latest version.

Atlassian native exports are manual, produce static dumps, and offer no granular recovery. Confluence spaces can contain thousands of pages with complex hierarchies, and a full import is the only native recovery path. Rewind covers Confluence but runs on AWS. Keepit provides page-level granularity with version history on its own independent immutable infrastructure, and backs up both Jira and Confluence from a single console.
One of the advantages of working with CRS — we can recommend the best combination of vendors for your specific needs.

The Essential Eight backup requirements, decoded: what ML1 to ML3 actually demand of your backups, plus the local tools that tick each control.
Why Our Vendor List Is Short on Purpose
The big cloud marketplaces sell breadth. We carry around a dozen vendors instead, and the reason has far more to do with support than with logos.
The SharePoint Storage Tax
Extra SharePoint Online storage costs about twenty times what object storage does, and most of it holds files nobody has opened in years.
Keepit for Confluence is available through Cloud Ready Solutions and our network of authorised partners across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific.
