NAKIVO for AWS

NAKIVO Backup & Replication protects Amazon EC2 instances with agentless, image-based backups that run entirely through AWS APIs. After the initial full backup, NAKIVO tracks changed blocks and transfers only what has actually changed, keeping backup windows short and storage consumption low. App-aware mode ensures transactional consistency for EC2 instances running SQL Server, Exchange, or Active Directory.

Recovery is flexible. Restore a full EC2 instance to its original location or to a different region, instance type, VPC, subnet, and security group configuration. Granular file-level recovery lets you pull individual files from an EC2 backup without restoring the entire instance. Application object recovery goes further, letting you extract individual mailboxes, databases, or AD objects directly from backup.

NAKIVO deploys as an AMI from the AWS Marketplace, so it runs natively inside your AWS environment. Policy-based automation detects EC2 instances by tag, name, or size and applies backup jobs automatically as new instances spin up. Backup data can be stored to Amazon S3, S3-compatible storage (Wasabi, Backblaze B2), or cross-cloud to Azure Blob. Immutable backups prevent ransomware from modifying or deleting your recovery points, and end-to-end encryption protects data at source, in transit, and at rest.
