NAKIVO Multi-Tenant for MSPs

NAKIVO Backup & Replication's multi-tenant deployment mode is specifically designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) delivering Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) and Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS). It enables MSPs to manage multiple isolated customer environments from a single NAKIVO Director console — with each tenant's data, configuration, and access completely separated.

The platform supports custom branding so MSPs can white-label the backup portal with their own logo and styling, presenting a professional, branded experience to end customers. Self-service capabilities allow customers to manage their own restores and monitor backup status without needing to contact the MSP for routine operations — reducing support tickets and improving customer satisfaction.

Tenant management scales efficiently. The Enterprise edition supports up to 100 tenants per Director, while Enterprise Plus removes this limit entirely. Each tenant can protect a mix of workloads — VMware VMs, Hyper-V VMs, physical servers, Microsoft 365, NAS shares — all managed through the same multi-tenant console. For MSPs building a recurring revenue backup practice, NAKIVO provides the technical foundation without the licensing complexity that makes Veeam Cloud Connect expensive to operationalise.
