Integrated Storage Concentrator (ISC)
High-Performance Block-Level iSCSI and Fibre Channel SAN Storage
The ISC is StoneFly's bread-and-butter SAN appliance — now in its 10th generation. It's a purpose-built block storage platform for databases, transactional systems, and virtualisation environments where low latency and high IOPS matter more than anything else. It speaks iSCSI and Fibre Channel natively, presenting storage to your servers as local disks.
StoneFusion handles the storage virtualisation under the hood, with active-active RAID controllers, hardware AES-256 encryption, deduplication, and automated tiering across NVMe, SSD, and SAS drives. Business continuity is well covered: synchronous campus mirroring for zero-loss replication, asynchronous replication for remote sites, and up to 2,520 delta-based snapshots per subsystem for instant point-in-time recovery.
What makes the ISC attractive for the Australian market is its affordability. You get genuine enterprise SAN features — the kind of thing Dell EMC and NetApp charge a fortune for — at a price point that mid-market organisations can actually justify. If you need reliable, fast block storage for SQL, Oracle, Exchange, or virtual server infrastructure, the ISC delivers without the premium pricing.

The ISC lines up against Dell ME4/ME5 series, HPE MSA, and legacy EMC/NetApp block storage. Dell and HPE dominate the Australian SAN market through sheer channel presence, but their pricing reflects it — particularly once you add deduplication, encryption, and replication licensing. The ISC includes all of these features as standard. For organisations running VMware or Hyper-V on iSCSI, the ISC is a fraction of the cost of a comparable Dell PowerVault or HPE MSA, with more snapshots, built-in encryption, and campus mirroring included.
